Mountain and Valley
Time and time again,
We hold our heads down low.
In fear of where our lives will take us.
Not knowing where we'll go.
Some of us worry too much.
And some of us not at all.
Some of us never climb,
For fear that we may fall
For those of us on the ground,
We look up in deep regret.
While the others look down below
on the ones they'll soon forget.
Who will climb and who will stay
Only time will tell
Come will fate to do his job
And make sense of all this hell.
We hold our heads down low.
In fear of where our lives will take us.
Not knowing where we'll go.
Some of us worry too much.
And some of us not at all.
Some of us never climb,
For fear that we may fall
For those of us on the ground,
We look up in deep regret.
While the others look down below
on the ones they'll soon forget.
Who will climb and who will stay
Only time will tell
Come will fate to do his job
And make sense of all this hell.
